Calling all freelance writers, industry insiders, and thought-leaders. We're looking for new voices and diverse perspectives at the intersection of fashion, sustainability, technology, and culture to contribute to SFF — and we'd love to hear from you!

Here's what we're looking for:

We welcome well-researched, news-worthy submissions, engaging commentary, and thoughtful analysis. We publish articles between 900 -1500 words, depending on the subject's complexity. Articles may be casual in tone but must be written for an audience that generally possesses more than a basic understanding of sustainability and is interested in maximizing their business and professional efforts with innovative ideas, strategy, and insights.

Contributor rates vary and are determined by various factors, including the amount of reporting and research involved, the length of the article, and the writer's experience. All freelance pitches must be exclusive to SFF.

Submitted content should not be promotional.

Please send press releases to hello@thesustainablefashionforum.com

Before you submit, make sure your submission:

  • Is written about a relevant topic targeted to the SFF audience. (we do not accept lifestyle content, i.e., no 'sustainable living/shopping tips,' etc.)

  • Is supported with relevant and well-researched arguments. Fact-check and cite sources where appropriate. Include a link to sources by putting relevant links in brackets next to the claim/statement.

  • It is clear and accessible. Avoid unnecessary jargon and overused buzzwords and terms like "green," "eco-friendly," "saving the planet," etc.

  • Is original. We do not publish content that has been submitted to or run on other sites/publications.
