Shannon Welch is the former Global Brand Director at the Swedish textile recycling company Renewcell, where she oversaw marketing, communications, and co-branding strategies for the company and its branded pulp, CIRCULOSE®. With fifteen years of communications experience, Welch has held positions at LaForce + Stevens, Starworks, Diesel USA, Maison-de-Mode, and Chapter 2. Most recently, Welch was the Sustainability Division Director at Chapter 2, leading accounts for Bluesign, Bombyx, EDWIN USA, Saitex, and MAS Holdings.
She also serves as an Advisor for Fashion Revolution USA, sits on the Advisory Committee for the United Nations Fashion & Lifestyle Network, and is an Advisory Council member for Techstyler. Welch completed her M.S. in Business for Social Impact & Sustainability from Glasgow Caledonian New York College in December 2020.
