Tara Moss is a co-founder and CMO of UNLESS Collective, a regenerative fashion company that makes 100% plant-and-mineral-based clothing and footwear. UNLESS operates the world’s first regenerative fashion platform — connecting material, design, manufacturing and composting to use plant-based innovation and production ingenuity to solve for a plastic-free future.

Tara has spent the past 15 years chasing what’s next. She is a creator, visionary and leader of high performing teams that value innovation and collaboration resulting in exponential growth of businesses value and brand desire.

At R/GA, Tara was Managing Director of the Portland Office, overseeing the 20 year global Nike relationship. With her creative team, she developed Nike’s groundbreaking kid’s initiative The PLAYList - which reframed sport as fun using elite athletes and digital platforms. She also built McDonalds’ first comprehensive global hub for their sustainability and community action initiatives. She took the office from an underperforming single client hub, to the most awarded and profitable office in the network in just under 3 years.

Prior to R/GA, Tara was a partner at Jumptank, a Dentsu Aegis strategic innovation unit focused on inspiring brands to confidentially take a leap forward. At Jumptank, she was able to pull from her experience spanning new-media platforms and unexplored frontiers to lead global sportswear giant adidas through a two-year, enterprise-wide digital transformation program — resulting in double digit e-commerce growth and a complete revamp of their global digital strategy.

Tara has also held executive positions within the Dentsu Aegis Network serving as the Head of Global Consulting and Managing Director of Isobar San Francisco, a global digital creative agency — delivering solutions for Coca Cola, Dolby, Pernod Ricard and others.

Tara bravely and successfully made the leap to agency life after serving as the Global Head of Digital Marketing for adidas – where she led content, advertising, e-commerce and wearable training technology.

Previous digital explorations include time at Bluefly.com and PricewaterhouseCoopers, which kicked off her fascination with start-ups at speed, and innovation at scale.

Tara is a graduate of Yale College and lives in Portland, Oregon where she spends her weekends shivering on a surfboard at the Oregon Coast and proudly helping to raise a 17-year-old girl ready to shape the future as we know it.
