Nina Ahuja is Head of Business Development of Trove, the market leader in branded resale and trade-in for world-class brands and retailers such as Canada Goose, lululemon, Patagonia, REI, Levi’s, Arc’teryx, Allbirds, and more.
Ahuja leads the business development team where she focuses on educating retailers about Trove, the recommerce industry, and the circular economy. She also helps develop unique solutions for partners to help streamline their recommerce channels, and bring their programs to life. Additionally, she spearheads Trove’s international expansion development and programs in new verticals, including the luxury retail space.
Prior to joining Trove in 2021, Ahuja was an Associate Partner at Kurt Salmon, where she focused on operating model transformations for global retailers such as Nike, Ralph Lauren, and Walmart, and luxury retailers such as Tory Burch and Salvatore Ferragamo. Previously, Ahuja worked in merchandising and retail planning at Chanel and Saks Fifth Avenue. In 2020, after leading several DEI initiatives for various organizations, Ahuja began independent DEI consulting for high-growth retail companies.
As a subject matter expert on recommerce and circularity in the larger retail landscape, Ahuja first gained a deeper understanding of the entire product lifecycle after she combined her passion for the arts and retail. This resulted in the creation of her own collection of wedding gowns which she completed at the age of twenty-two, re-investing the profits into women-owned factories in New Dehli to help artisans make a living wage and build sustainable business practices. She continued designing South Asian formal wear for a decade after. Ahuja holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Columbia University.
She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
